The Terra Vessel is a sculptural stacking vessel handcrafted from three natural materials: mouth-blown glass, hand-turned soapstone, and solid wood. Each element is made separately by specialist craftspeople and assembled into a single, balanced object.

The base is a full, rounded globe of mouth-blown glass in deep teal — smooth, luminous, and slightly different in every piece. Sitting directly on top is a domed soapstone lid, hand-turned and matte in finish, its naturally porous surface a deliberate contrast to the glass below. The wood stopper crowns the piece with a warm, honey-toned collar, left raw at the edge where it was cut from the branch.

Together the three materials create a conversation between the polished and the rough, the translucent and the opaque, the cultivated and the found.

The Terra Vessel functions as a closed decorative vessel or storage object for small items. It is designed to be displayed, handled, and kept for a long time.

After production, the elements are brought together in our workshop in Northern Germany, where they are fitted and assembled by hand to ensure balance, quality, and beauty.
