Halo Table
Halo Table is formed around a spun glass disc made in the heat of the hotshop, where molten glass is set into motion and shaped by rotation. As the disc turns, ripples emerge, soft concentric waves that trace the centrifugal movement of the glass. These marks are not smoothed away; they remain visible, holding the memory of heat, gravity, and time within the surface.
The glass rests elevated on a handcrafted wooden frame, made in careful response to the disc itself. Shaped to fit its contours, the frame supports the glass with quiet precision, allowing it to hover lightly above the structure below. Together, glass and wood create a dialogue between fluidity and form, transparency and weight: an object that balances motion and stillness in a single, enduring gesture.
