Scarabée

Scarabée is a commanding floor-standing sculpture and vessel, designed to become the defining presence in any room. This monumental piece unites mouth-blown glass, hand-spun metal, and hand-turned wood in a soaring composition that speaks equally to ancient grandeur and contemporary craft.

Rising from the floor, its generous glass vase forms the luminous heart of the piece crowned by a hand-spun metal bowl and finished with a sculptural wooden crown that gives Scarabée its unmistakable silhouette. A feat of artisanal engineering as much as design, each component is independently functional, offering flexibility without compromising the integrity of the whole.

Crafted by hand in Europe by skilled artisans:

• Czech Republic – Mouth-blown glass, formed with Bohemian expertise into a vessel of remarkable scale and clarity
• Britain – Hand-spun semi-precious metal, shaped using traditional techniques into a wide, generous bowl with a soft, luminous finish
• Finland – Hand-turned wood, crafted in a small woodworking studio into a crown of warm, sculptural presence

All components are brought to our North German workshop, where they are carefully fitted and assembled by hand with the precision this scale demands.
