Our designer Pia traveled to Japan to explore local crafts and get inspired by their culture to design these pieces. We collaborated with an experienced craftsman named Motoyoshi, who creates in his family workshop in Fukui.

Zambia Collection
These pieces were created in collaboration with a local community of women living in UN refugee camps in Zambia.
Each woman created her own unique pattern from a strong and silky Makenge bush root. Working with materials at hand, so namely materials that grow locally, this community can make a living and find meaningful creative output. The baskets are adorned with copper, which is also mined locally and gives expression to this color and pattern-rich culture.
