The materials come to our warehouse in Germany where they are fitted and assembled.
Sharp edges
A shape like Sam can only be made in a wooden mould. The sharp edges and solid glass base give this piece its contemporary appeal.
FUMES FOR FORM
These wooden moulds used for blowing are made from hard wood that is kept wet at all times.
The hot glass actually never meets the wood, as the water fumes released by the intense heat form a barrier between the two elements. The glass is shaped by the soft water fumes.
