This striking vessel blends the timeless sophistication of our India collection from 2012 with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic.
A true masterpiece of glass cutting and design, Ray can be disassembled into three versatile components: a large hand-blown glass vase, a spacious spun metal bowl, and a small turned wooden container. This modular design offers both stunning visual impact and functional versatility.

Glass Sculpting
Sculpting on a diamond wheel
Stainless metal wheels finely dusted with diamond are used to cut glass. The process involves a lot of water, as the wheel has to be kept wet at all times to prevent from overheating.
Repetition
Line after line the surface is ornamented. Markings on the surface indicate the general direction to inform the cutters hand. but the work requires a steady eye and hand.
