This elegant piece draws on the refined tradition of Bohemian glass cutting paired with the rich heritage of forestry and woodworking in Karelia, Finland.
Designed for both beauty and function, Poppy can be unstacked into two components: a bulbous hand-blown glass vase with a narrow opening and a wide, turned wooden bowl. Together, they create a harmonious blend of artisanal skill and natural materials—perfect for collectors who appreciate thoughtful design with cultural roots.

The materials come to our warehouse in Germany where they are fitted and assembled.
Sculpting
SculptingThe surface of Poppy is cut on a diamond wheel.
Cut after cut the surface is shaped, hollowing out the pattern until the whole surface is covered.
finishingTwo types of diamond wheel are used to finish the surface- a rough one to remove material and a fine one to achieve a satin finish.
Finally a nano lacquer is applied to seal the piece.
