“Ohana,” meaning family in Hawaiian, perfectly captures the spirit of these two-part stacking vessels. Designed to be figurative and full of character, each piece expresses a unique identity while sharing a harmonious relationship—just like a family.

The Ohana vessel disassembles into two elegant components: a necked hand-blown glass vase and a geometric wooden bowl. Together, they celebrate connection, individuality, and artisanal craftsmanship in a beautifully balanced form.

Designed and prototyped in 2022.

Cutting and shaping

Ohana has a unique geometric wooden top, which is made in our studio in Germany.
Working with various woods we cut, sand and surface finish the tops.

The wooden top is sanded into shape and the surface brushed to create a texture to contrast the shiny glass.
