Ohana
HANDBLOWN GLASS, CZECHIA / hand shaped wood, germanyOhana is Hawaian for family.
These two part Vessels are figurative by intention and exhibit character.
Together they are like a family, similar to each other yet each is unique.
Ohana can be taken apart to form a necked glass vase and a geometric wooden bowl.
Designed and prototyped in 2022.

Dimensions are approximate, due to the handmade nature of the materials.
The materials come to our warehouse in Germany where they are fitted and assembled.
Cutting and shaping
Ohana has a unique geometric wooden top, which is made in our studio in Germany.
Working with various woods we cut, sand and surface finish the tops.
SUrface work
The wooden top is sanded into shape and the surface brushed to create a texture to contrast the shiny glass.
