The Matisse Stacking Vessels are small treasures of curvy glass with a wooden crown.
The collection was originally designed for the Tate Museum in London and inspired by the colour palette of the French painter. Their subtle presence makes them spontaneous design collectibles.

A Matisse Vessel can be taken apart to form a small glass vase and a small wooden container.

Mould

Our Matisse collection is blown into a wooden mould in Czechia. The moulds are kept wet, so that the hot glass creates a fine layer of fumes within the mould, ensuring the glossy smooth surface on the glass

Mould blowing

For mould blowing a minimum of two people are required. One to gather and blow the glass and another to open and close the mould.
