The Frida Stacking Vessel by Utopia & Utility is a refined fusion of handblown glass and hand-turned wood, embodying both functionality and artistry. Crafted in Czechia, the glass component features fine directional lines, meticulously cut by hand using a diamond wheel under running water, then finished with a nano lacquer for subtle sheen and texture. Topped with a hand-turned Curly Birch bowl from Finland, each piece showcases the natural beauty of its materials

Cutting

The markings on Frida are cut on a diamond wheel under running water (to cool the glass and clean the wheel).
Each cut is carved by hand on the edge of the wheel and finished with a nano lacquer.
