Lilith & Eve
HANDBLOWN GLASS, CZECHIA / stoneware CERAMIC, italy / HAND TURNED WOOD, FINLANDParadise collection comprises of two pieces: Eve & Lilith.
The two combine large scale glass with a solid foot and stoneware ceramic with delightful glazes, topped by a timber crown.
Eve disassembles into a glass bowl, a ceramic plate and a wood bowl.
Lilith disassembles into a glass vase, a ceramic bowl and a wood bowl.

The materials come to our warehouse in Germany where they are fitted and assembled.
clay
Turning a ceramic bowl always starts from a ball of clay. The clay has to be worked beforehand to ensure all the air bubbles are out and it’s malleable and smooth.
Turning
On a spinning wheel this clay is centred and moved into an even mass. The mass is pulled into the desired shape by hand
Finishing
The initial bowl shape is left to dry until it is leather hard, this can take a few days. At this stage it comes back on the wheel and the details and surface is finished.
Our bowls are characterised by the rim on the edge to locate the glass.
